What a year. What a journey. What an incredible group of educators.
In 2025, our Elevate educators didn’t just teach classes — they brought our Elevate Box projects to life, traveled far and wide to share their expertise, and helped quilters everywhere gain confidence with ruler quilting, embroidery, and timeless design. From online education to guilds, shops, shows, and events across the country, the impact of this group reached well beyond the screen.
Today, we’re taking a moment to celebrate the educators who made 2025 unforgettable.
The Educators Who Made Elevate Shine in 2025
🌟 Kathy
If consistency, generosity, and WOW had a name, it would be Kathy. Sharing education three times a week, Kathy went above and beyond all year long — creating projects for AccuQuilt, Elevate Boxes, and bonus classes that continually surprised and delighted. Her commitment to showing up, teaching clearly, and inspiring confidence set the tone for the entire year.
🎨 Kate (aka Kate the Great)
Gorgeous quilts, stunning design, and nonstop inspiration — all while traveling coast to coast. Kate shared her love of ruler quilting with Janome users nationwide, teaching and inspiring quilters wherever she went. Her ability to combine beauty, precision, and approachable instruction elevated every project she touched.
🔵 Donelle
Circles were spinning and confidence was growing everywhere Donelle traveled. Teaching ruler work at shows and events across the country, she helped quilters overcome hesitation and gain the confidence to ruler quilt at home. Her encouraging, clear instruction made ruler quilting accessible to so many.
🌈 Ann Moore
From her monthly live sessions to teaching at guilds and stores throughout the South, Ann brought excitement, color, and confidence to every classroom. Highlighting the rulers of the quarter, adding Templee Quilting and free-motion accents, Ann helped quilters make every design POP.
🧠 Shanna
Shanna’s deep understanding of ruler quilting and embroidery helped quilters truly get the most out of the designs of the season. Whether teaching online or in person, she empowered quilters to use their tools with intention, confidence, and creativity.
🧵 Nanne
A true project powerhouse. From ruler and EmbroideLee designs to bags, piecing-in-the-hoop, paper piecing seasonal projects, blocks of the quarter, and more — Nanne created projects galore and kept our community inspired all year long.
📐 Pam
Paper piecing perfection, box after box. Pam created paper piecing projects with every Elevate Box, delivering fun, stunning designs that consistently WOWED our club members. Her projects blended precision with creativity in a way that felt both inspiring and approachable.
✂️ Deb
Deb has been instrumental in helping shape and grow the EmbroideLee collection into what it is today. Her creative vision and thoughtful approach guided the evolution of this collection, turning ideas into polished, inspiring projects. Her amazing EmbroideLee projects will soon be available for everyone to enjoy on Sew Steady University, and we can’t wait to share them.
🍂 Carrie
Carrie brought a fresh, fun seasonal perspective to EmbroideLee classes and projects, creating designs that WOW and inspire throughout the year. Her seasonal approach made embroidery feel exciting, accessible, and perfectly timed.
🌸 Melissa
Melissa has truly grown into an amazing educator, bringing fun, seasonal projects to life throughout the year. With every Elevate Box rollout, she helped create the WOW. When she isn’t responding to customers in our Facebook group or via email, Melissa is behind the scenes creating these inspiring projects. Her creativity, growth, and enthusiasm elevated every box experience.
🧩 Angie
Angie shared her incredible Churn Dash pattern, pairing easy-to-follow instruction with stunning results. Her projects made a classic block feel fresh, fun, and achievable.
🪵 Helen
Helen wowed us all with a super fun Log Cabin table runner that truly stopped people in their tracks. Her project blended timeless design with approachable instruction and inspired quilters to dive right in.
🧷 Dea
Dea jumped in teaching ruler quilting on the practice panels, wowing students and growing her store’s club with her love of rulers and embroidery. Her enthusiasm inspired quilters to explore new techniques with confidence.
🌍 Adele
Adele shared ruler quilting all over the country, teaching, hosting shows, and spreading her passion wherever she went. Her dedication to in-person education helped introduce ruler quilting to new audiences nationwide.
🤍 Donna McCauley
Donna shared her love of ruler quilting with us until her passing in March of 2024, and her influence continues to guide everything we do. Her timeless designs and dedication to tradition helped shape the foundation of our Elevate Boxes and embroidery collections. Donna’s legacy will continue to live on through Elevate and EmbroideLee for many years to come.
Looking Ahead to 2026 ✨
We are so excited for all that is to come in 2026, including the launch of our Sew Steady Stars program and our upcoming Sew Steady Retreat.
