DMQ BASIC MARKER TOOL
Create the perfect placement grid with the DMQ Basic Marker Tool – NOT FOR STITCHING.
Prepare quilt blocks and borders with exact alignment markings with the Basic Marker 4″x12″ or Basic Marker 12″x12″.
Marking slots will accept several brands of markers, pens and chalk liners. Slots are spaced at 1″ increments with 1/4″ lines between them. Diagonal lines aid in angled placement. Two edges of the tool show measurements 0-12″ and two side have Center indicators of 0-6″ in each direction for precision alignment.

Our Spin-e-fex Snowflake Templates are so easy to use. The etched markings are easy to see – Westalee’s unique Key Gate System allows you to place the Ruler Foot inside the template and then close the opening. This prevents the template from expanding as you stitch and does not leave you with a flat spot in the stitching where you stitched past the opening.

Rulers are essential. I don’t think I can make a quilt without them.
I love ruler work! I have learned so much from all of the excellent educators representing Sew Steady. I love that I take ownership of my first cut of fabric, my first stitch in piecing/sewing, my fist stitch with quilting to the final stitches of each and every project I make from smaller projects to large quilts!!
