This spin e flex template in a large size would be excellent for quilting a winding road quilt top that I made last summer. It is not too complex and has a “clean” look.
I like this one because it has a “pointy” end and I think it will be great for creating holiday projects. I looks a little like a snowflake!
Would love to use the spin e fex 11 to make pointsettias on the background of my Christmas table runner and use it for templee work. I am a beginner and find they are easy to use. i have one now but need another size to use on my new table I just purchased for ruler work.
I love the versatility of the spin-e-flex rulers. Being able to use the pin or not and being able to use either end makes for a lot of variations in just one ruler!
I love this template. And I really like the idea of just using one side to create a new design. So cool.
I would like to use this template to do some Templee projects. The only spin-e-fex I have is the Feather set and I found I can use them easily (still trying to master ruler quilting!). So I’d like to try more spin-e-fex. I think I’ll try a tote bag first. Using the same template for both sides, but changing the templee cutouts. I think that could be a skill building exercise. And flexing some creativity!
Also, by starting with a small project I would likely actually complete it!
Love Westalee templates. Would like to collect more.
This template would be perfect in several blocks in my Gypsy Wife top that is waiting for quilt inspiration.
making daughter a quilt this would make beautiful flowers for it.
These spin-e-flex templates have made ruler quilting a joy. I haven’t used #11, but look forward to trying it. My quilting designs have become infinitely more complex- and yet look better than ever
I would love to use this in my dream panel!
I have been wanting to make a quilted coat & I think this template would make a wonderful design for the back of the quilt
I think a solid background with a lovely contrasting thread would make a gorgeous quilt and simple to do.
