Leave a ReviewI began my sewing journey with Home Economics in the 7th grade. I did a little sewing after that and quilting when my children were young. I reconnected with quilting in 2008 and haven’t stopped. Around 2018, I took a ruler quilting class from Ann Moore.
Wow. Now I’m teaching ruler classes at Midwest Sewing in Wichita. Love it!

Great teacher! I’ve learned a lot from her. Ruler quilting scared me but with Dena’s help I am conquering the fear.
I’ve been taking ruler classes from Dea at Midwest Sewing for about a year. After taking her classes I’m inspired to do more with my rulers. Her enthusiasm for ruler quilting comes through as she teaches skills at all levels, be it basics for the beginner or complex skills for the more experienced. Taking a class from Dea is time well spent.
