🏨 Hotel Accommodations

The retreat will be hosted in Eugene, Oregon.

Hotel reservations will be managed directly by the Hyatt of Eugene at Oakway Center.

• A direct booking link will be sent to all attendees reserving single occupancy rooms.
• Guests choosing shared occupancy will have their room coordinated and paid through Sew Steady with Room Matching available.
• Any additional nights must be booked directly through the hotel.

Sew Steady is not responsible for hotel cancellation penalties or additional charges outside the retreat dates.

💰 Deposit & Payment Information

Deposits are required for all attendees participating in classes and group transportation. If spouses or additional guests will be joining you, please plan to arrange separate transportation for group excursions, including our trips to Sisters and the Oregon Coast.

Your deposit:
• Reserves your space
• Is applied toward your total retreat balance if booking shared hotel room.

Final balance details and payment schedule will be sent after registration.  Additional costs include travel to and from the retreat and any optional class kit fees. Full Class Schedule will be sent in April.  Learn more about the event here:

❗ Cancellation Policy

Because venue space, materials, and instructors are secured in advance:

• Cancel on or before April 15, 2026 → Full refund including deposit
• Cancel April 16 – May 31, 2026 → Deposit retained, remaining payments refunded
• Cancel after June 1, 2026 → No refunds (unless your space is filled from the waitlist)

Deposits are transferable to another attendee until May 15, 2026.

If Sew Steady must cancel the event for any reason, all payments received will be refunded in full.

• Retreat schedule, instructors, and projects subject to change.
• Sew Steady is not responsible for travel interruptions or personal emergencies.
• In the event of circumstances beyond our control (weather, venue closure, etc.), reasonable efforts will be made to reschedule or provide credit.

FAQ’S:

Additional Costs Beyond Deposit
Any added fee(s) would be for additional classes you may want to participate in. Aside from meal and supply expenditures (there will be time for shopping!), no additional amount is due after your $300.00 deposit.

Double Occupancy Room Pairing
For those selecting double occupancy, we will be sending a link to book your rooms for the event in the coming month. There will be an optional roommate questionnaire if you are seeking a roommate. If you already have a preferred roommate, then you can book accordingly with them. Otherwise, we’ll thoughtfully pair attendees based on responses to ensure a comfortable match.

Sewing Machines
Our friends at Janome will be hosting a room and providing machines to share during the event, so you do not need to travel with your own machine. You are, of course, welcome to bring your own if you’re more comfortable.

Arrival & Departure Timing
The retreat officially begins on July 7, and we will pick you up from the hotel in Eugene at 3:00 PM that afternoon.
The retreat will conclude on July 11 (final schedule details will be shared soon so you can plan return flights comfortably).

Optional Portland Arrival Experience
For those who would like to fly into Portland earlier on July 7, there will be an optional opportunity to tour and warehouse shop at EE Schenck that morning. Afterward, you can drive down to Eugene (approximately a 2-hour drive).

Class Locations
All classes will be held at the hotel for your convenience.

Participation Questionnaire 

We will send  participation questions to have you provide us your complete list of class requests, events, and special needs.  This will be sent to you in April.

• Sisters Quilt Show
